Advanced ophthalmic surgery in three dimensions

Prof. Awan is the first and only ophthalmic surgeon in Pakistan performing all his surgeries using the NGENUITY® 3D Visualization System. This heads-up platform provides a magnified, high-definition stereoscopic view of fine structures during surgery.

The surgeon views the operative field on a 3D display rather than through conventional microscope eyepieces. The shared view supports detailed visualization, a more ergonomic operating position and teaching in the operating theatre.
